Sidewall, Lamina

This is a sidewall. It was manufactured by Assemblage. It is dated 2017 and we acquired it in 2017. Its medium is hand-applied marble dust and mica plasters, mica, gold leaf, waterborne resin. It is a part of the Wallcoverings department.

Lamina is dark and dramatic, containing horizontal bands of dashed lines alternating with bold metallic stripes, creating a nice contrast between the dark indigo and metal leaf. Sporadic bands of mica and resin add a subtle sheen.

This object was donated by Assemblage. It is credited Gift of Assemblage.

Its dimensions are

L x W: 182.9 × 76.2 cm (6 ft. × 30 in.)
