Sidewall, Arashi

This is a sidewall. It was manufactured by Assemblage. It is dated 2017 and we acquired it in 2017. Its medium is hand-applied marble dust plaster and bees wax. It is a part of the Wallcoverings department.

Arashi is a subtle pattern of irregular vertical stripes, having a vague resemblance to reptile skin. The pale blue and white pattern has a slight relief and is created with pigment and plaster, then coated with beeswax.

This object was donated by Assemblage. It is credited Gift of Assemblage.
