Hijab, Nike Pro Hijab

This is a Hijab. It was designed by Brogan Terrell and Rachel Henry and produced by Nike. It is dated 2017 and we acquired it in 2019. Its medium is microfiber polyester and spandex and its technique is woven using single piqué machine. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Nike. It is credited Gift of Nike.

A three-wheeled device called the Racing Wheelchair is on a white background. It has two solid full disc as wheels in the back, slightly tilted on a inward angle. There are prints on the seat, including red and blue geometric lines and the text “USA” on the side. The frame extends with a slim vertical body, attaching its smaller wheel in the front. Unlike the back wheels, the smaller wheel is hollow with crossing metal wires. The vertical extension connecting the back and front wheels are decorated with blue, red and white geometric shapes. The text “BMW” is printed near the front. The racing wheelchair is composed of carbon fiber, aluminum, titanium and 3d-printed parts.
