Spaces Necklace

This is a Necklace. It was designed by Aric Verrastro. It is dated 2015. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This necklace conveys Aric Verrastro’s experience of no longer living in a city. The architectural, modular forms constructed from steel are representations of the energy of a vibrant environment. Their diversity is linked to concepts of dancing lights, and the “musical chaos in the streets.”

It is credited Promised gift to the Susan Grant Lewin Collection, Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
