Necklace

This is a necklace. It was designed by Ramona Solberg. It is dated 1989 and we acquired it in 2016. Its medium is dominos, silver, leather cord. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

American pioneer, Ramona Solberg often used objects she collected during her extensive travels or ordinary items from her own household, such as the dominoes she strung on a simple leather cord.

This object was donated by Susan Lewin. It is credited The Susan Grant Lewin Collection, Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
