This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Anonymous as part of The Jazz Age: American Style in the 1920s.

It is dated 1927. Its medium is rock crystal, carved jadeite, carved sapphires, emeralds, diamonds, platinum.

Sold from Cartier New York, this lavish bracelet with its carved and colorful stones was made soon after the yearlong honeymoon of Mona and Harrison Williams. Harrison, twenty-four years Mona's senior, created American Gas and Electric Co. By 1929 his fortune was estimated at $680 million.
