Dress, Scarf, And Headband

This is a Dress, scarf, and headband. It was designed by Khanaan Luqman Shamlan and made for Khanaan.

This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco as part of Contemporary Muslim Fashions.

It is dated Spring/Summer Collection 2016. Its medium is silk batik embroidered with sequins and beads, synthetic satin, rayon grosgrain ribbon with synthetic net, beads, and jewels. It is a part of the department.
