Top, Pants, And Turban

This is a Top, pants, and turban. It was designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli and made for Valentino.

This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco as part of Contemporary Muslim Fashions.

It is dated Spring/Summer Collection 2018. Its medium is moiré silk faille, silk faille, silk taffeta. It is a part of the department.


This pants ensemble differs from the version shown on the runway only in the addition of the three-quarter length sleeve. Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al Missned wore it to the Development Through Education Initiative at the New York Public Library, New York, in April 2018.
