I-ROAD Electric Vehicle, 2013

This is a i-ROAD Electric Vehicle. It was designed by Toyota Motor Corporation. It is dated 2013. It is a part of the department.

The ultra-compact electric vehicle (EV), i-ROAD, provides a nimble, personal mobility experience. Regulations are essential to prevent road chaos, but such micro-mobility options might be among the game-changers in the future of flexible mobility. Users can also customize the i-ROAD by 3D printing body parts with colors and surface designs of their own choosing.

A transportation device fabricated in aluminum and carbon composite and painted in bright shiny red paint with a white seat, black matt handbrakes, both circular rearview mirrors, floor mat, both tires and double kickstand are all black. There is a substantial silver hinge located on the center of the foot area enabling the scooter to fold the scooter. There is one headlight centered on the front body/fender. The manufacturer’s name “MOVEO” is inscribed in white small letters below the headlight and in larger letters on the back body covering the tire. The M and E in “MOVEO” have rounded edges where right angles usually are formed. The Scooter is photographed against a stark white ground and faces left.

A small-scale robot that one can ride, fabricated in dark gray aluminum and possesses an original configuration with three wheels, two in front and one in back. The body consists of two handlebars in black attached to a part that appears to be a small cylindrical head with an area where eyes would be in the shape of a strip appearing magnetic or digital. The long curved neck has a seat and is elegantly attached to the body beneath it and resembles a kangaroo; smaller head and larger lower body. There is one head light in the belly of the body and most of the weight is in the lower body, where the tires are attached. The front tire has six small lights and is attached to a hub. The back, or inside view of the second tire is also attached to a hub. The smaller back tire is protected by a fender. There is a leg installed on a diagonal that stabilizes the foot pedal. The Robot is photographed against a light gray ground and we can view the front and side simultaneously.
