Four dark grey glazed forms, grouped against a white background. The three left forms are tall, with a slightly tapered shape and rounded bottom. The fourth, to the right, is short, with a squat shape and round, flat top. The glazes share the same graphite grey color and satiny finish, but have different textures. The leftmost form, set off by itself, has a smooth texture with a couple large pinholes in the surface. The center form has a thick, pitted, blistered glaze, with a fat, drippy edge near the bottom of the form. The center right form, set behind the center and rightmost forms, has a smooth finish with layers of long drips running down the sides. The rightmost, short form has a puckered, drippy brownish grey glaze on the top surface, spilling down over a dark grey blistered glaze on the sides.

Remolten N°1: Revolution Series

It is dated 2016-2018. Its medium is stool l, flower pot, stool m, wall-mounted lights. It is a part of the department.

For gt2P’s Santiago-based studio, Chile’s volcanoes provide inspiration. The Remolten series of stools and pots are covered in a glaze made from pulverized volcanic stone that, when kiln-fired and cooled at a range of temperatures, results in various textures and colors. The Less CPP lighting series anchors the delicacy of porcelain with the resilience of dark lava. The materials’ close firing temperatures bond them together.
