Travel Diary, Paris, France

This is a Travel Diary. It was attributed to Eleanor Garnier Hewitt.

This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It has been able to spend time at the museum on loan from Smithsonian Libraries and Archives.

It is dated ca. 1913–24. Its medium is ink on paper in metal binders. It is a part of the department.

Eleanor maintained diaries of her travels in Europe and the United States, 23 of which still exist. Each diary documents one city or country and contains facts about cities, notable homes and gardens visited, sketches, photography, and practical travel advice.

It is credited Smithsonian Libraries and Archives, E664 .H5234H49.
