This is a spoon. It was designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and made for (as the client) Miss Catherine Cranston. It is dated ca. 1900 and we acquired it in 2013. Its medium is silver-plated nickel. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

It is credited Gift of Harry C. Sigman.

Stamped on underside of handle: "Miss Cranston's in a rectangular shield conforming to upper case M and C"
