Seaux à verre Cooler

This is a Cooler. It was manufactured by Saint-Cloud Porcelain Manufactory. It is dated ca. 1730 and we acquired it in 1907. Its medium is soft-paste porcelain, underglaze blue, glass. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Mrs. George T. Bliss. It is credited Gift of Mrs. George T. Bliss.

Ice Pail with Lion Heads Ice Pail. Ice Pail is comprised of porcelain, vitreous enamel and gold material. The ice pail is porcelain white and has four decorative old lion heads at the top of each leg stand. The body of the pail had a decorate flower design on ech side and a blue twisted ribbon depicted running along the pail. At the botton of the legs and lion paws in gold and the lid of the pail is white porcelain with gold trim accent. There is a gold knob attached to the white porcelian pail.
