The Wonders of Thread: A Gift of Textiles from the Collection of Elizabeth Gordon was a Cooper Union Museum exhibition held from December 12, 1964 through February 23, 1965. The Wonders of Thread featured primarily 20th-century textiles produced by leading craftsmen from Japan, Scandinavia, and the United States. The pieces on display were visually exciting and stressed technical refinement. The 100 pieces were a bequest from the collection of Elizabeth Gordon, former editor of House Beautiful magazine.

It is credited Collection of Smithsonian Institution Libraries.
