This is a Waraji (sandals). It was woven by Shonai Tagawa JA Fujishima Branch.

This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from NUNO Corporation as part of Scraps.

It is dated 2010. Its medium is hand-woven kibiso.
