The two bracelets are circular in shape, one fuchsia and the other orange, with a total of 5 spherical protrusions evenly spaced out, along the bracelets soft exterior. These spherical protrusions are not the same material as the bracelet, in fact, they are made of a metal substance. A metal sliver on two opposing sides of the bracelet, cuts it in half; however, both halves remain together in one piece.

Candy Wear Brooch And Two Bracelets

This is a Brooch and Two Bracelets. It was designed by Daniel Jocz. It is dated 2000 and we acquired it in 2016. Its medium is electroformed, assembled and soldered silver covered in electrostatically applied rayon flocking bonded with adhesive; magnets (bracelet clasps). It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Susan Lewin. It is credited The Susan Grant Lewin Collection, Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.

Framed in black, a vertical black and white image of a fair skinned, blonde haired, female model. The model is posing with her hands on her hips, and head slightly cocked towards the viewers right, and maintains eye contact with the viewer. Hand applied/ drawn to appear worn by the model, is a neon green and orange tiara, simply designed as a band and spherical protrusion. On the models left shoulder (towards the right side of the page), is a hand applied/ drawn 'X' shaped brooch in neon green.
