Irma Boom is a Dutch graphic designer who is especially known for her book making. She studied graphic design at the AKI School of Fine Art in Enscheden. Boom worked at the Dutch Government Publishing and Printing Office in The Hague for five years before she founded her own firm, Irma Boom Office, in Amsterdam in 1991. Boom works both nationally and internationally in the cultural and commercial sectors, and among her clients are the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, Paul Fentener van Vlissingen, Inside Outside, Museum Boijmans, Zumtobel, Ferrari, Vitra International, NAi Publishers, and Camper.
