Manufacturer specializing in automation control and instruments. Mark Honeywell began manufacturing heat generators in 1906. Merged his business venture with Minneapolis Heat Regulator Co. in 1927, subsequently expanded production to include clocks, thermometers, and gyroscopes. 1963 became Honeywell, Inc. Involved in computer technology in 1980s, later narrowing company's focus to automation control and instruments.
