Attended Iowa State University as the first recipient of the Helen Beresford scholarship. During third year of college, worked as intern at the Duffy Group, Fallon McElligott, Minneapolis. Advanced toSenior Art Director, Duffy Group; clients included Giorgio Armani, Rolling Stone, Porsche and Jim Bean Brands. Executive Art Director, Bloomingdale's Advertising; directed team in retail, packaging and identity work for the company's buyers in all its stores. Joined Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Oregon c.1994. International creative director for software (Microsoft) and soft drinks (Diet Coke, Powerade, Barq's). Clients also have included Nike and The State of Oregon Tourism Commission.
