Jacubus Johannes Berlage (1890-1963), studied architecture at the time of Cuypers and Berlage, who were influences on his personal style. In 1915, he met Theo van Doesburg, and was among the founders of "De Stijl." Oud also based many of his ideas about industrial design on what he knew from the Bauhaus, and it may have been Oud that encouraged the designer/manufacturer W.H. Gispen (1890-1981) to produce lighting.

We have one object that J.J.Pieter Oud has been involved with.
