Masao Aida

Masao Aida is a master edokomon dyer. He has practiced his craft for more than fifty years, and his printed textiles are widely sought after both in Japan and abroad. He is best known for his unique moiré pattern textiles, an example of which is in Cooper-Hewitt’s collection.
