Artisan Field

1983 Artisan Field, a family-owned design firm founded in Houston, Texas. The name is derived from the definitions of "artisan...a master, technically skilled in a craft" and "field...the arena in which theories are put to practice." Principals: James C. Boyles, President; Mary Boyles Carr and Tom Boyles, Creative Directors. Mary Carr - M. A., Houston Baptist University; B. A., University of St. Thomas Tom Boyles - B. A., Fine Arts (Filmmaking), Stephen F. Austin University. Clients have included many shopping center developments and non-profit organizations and arts institutions, such as the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
