Designer and metalsmith Boris Bally, who currently lives and works in Providence, has won numerous awards for his work in Massachusetts, New York, and Pennsylvania as well as Rhode Island. He has studied at Carnegie Mellon University and Tyler School of Art, and apprenticed in Switzerland. Applying traditional metalworking techniques in modern, innovative ways, he creates objects from recycled roadsigns, bringing industrial imagery" to the tabletop.
