English immigrant china painter and potter, active in the United States. Began working in New York in 1861, and opened the decorating workshop Warren & Lycett. The workshop employed artists to paint and guild porcelain and furniture plaques. Joined the Faience Manufacturing Company of Greenpoint in Brooklyn, NY in 1884 and later became art director. The manufactory was in operation from 1880-92 and produced art ware ceramics. Lycett left the manufactory in 1890.
