Maharam

Maharam is one of the nation’s leading suppliers of textiles to commercial architects and interior designers. Founded by Russian immigrant Louis Maharam in 1902, the company was family-run until 2013, when it was purchased by Herman Miller Inc. The company’s multi-disciplinary approach includes commissioning work by contributors across varied fields, including graphic, industrial, and fashion design, and long-term collaborations with companies like Nike and Vitra, and designers Hella Jongerius, Konstantin Grcic, and Paul Smith. The company has also produced re-editions of textile designs by prominent designers of the 20th century, including Koloman Moser, Anni Albers, Alexander Girard, and Charles and... more.
