Whipsaw is an industrial design & engineering consulting firm with a focus on innovative product development and branding located in San Jose and San Francisco. Since their founding in 1999, their consultation work has primarily focused on product design, the user experience, as well as branding. They have worked for hundreds of clients, including Ford, Google, Intel, Motorola, Nike, and Sony. They have designed over 400 products; won more than 240 design awards, and granted over 300 patents. The range of their work extends from the medical industry to consumer electronics. This includes products such as a blood glucose monitors, video monitors, smart phones, and lunchboxes, to name a few.
