Danish functionalist furniture designer. Studied at School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen, where he taught from 1952-6. Also taught at the Royal Danish Academy of Arts in Copenhagen from 1955-16. Independently designed for Fritz Hansen and E. Kold Christiansen. Used natural materials in his work, but also used steel frames.
