Laura Ashley

In 1953, Laura with her husband, Bernard, launched Laura Ashely, the brand. They began by printing towels, headscarves, and placemats at their kitchen table. Their style was to incorporate Victorian style into modern designs, like adding images of Victorian playbills and advertisements.
