The drawing illustrates the interior of a cargo ship with almost the entire cover rendered in black and objects depicted in silhouette and shadow. At the bottom center are two blue silhouettes of workers wearing overalls, one, in the center, is pushing a barrel towards the left side of the image, and the other, to our right, is leaning against brown cargo containers which are stacked up to a dark brown timbered ceiling. At the top left of the work is an opening revealing a blue sky and the red painted interior of the ship. Here, in the left corner, another blue silhouetted worker signals down a blue crane to our right which is lowering a brown cargo container into the ship, meanwhile behind the worker is another blue crane further back on the dock.
