Roger Swales

Roger Swales studied 3D design at the Bristol Polytechnic and went to work for Pentagram (London) and Philips Design (Netherlands) in the 1990s. Notable projects included a line of small appliances for a Philips Alessi colaboration (1994), for which he designed the water kettle, winning the Kho Liang le Design Award. Swales served as a judge at the iF Product Design Awards in 2010 and at the Hong Kong Exporters’ Associate Adjudication and Forum in 2012.
