Oki Sato

Founder and principal of the design firm nendo, architect Oki Sato received his M.A. in architecture from Waseda University in Tokyo in 2002. In that year Sato also made his first visit to the Milan Salone, where on seeing the work of Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka, made up his mind to exhibit at Milan. By 2003, Sato and his team at nendo had their first showing, and since then the dynamic firm has taken on projects ranging from architecture, to installation design, and interior, graphic, and product design, for companies such as Cappelini, Lexus, and Oluce.
