Wayne Husted | People | Collection of Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum

Born Hudson, NY, 1927, second design director for Blenko Glass, after Winthrop Anderson, from 1952-1963. Worked for other glass companies including Viking, Anchor Hocking, Stelvia, Bishoff. In 2001 produced Olana series in collaboration with Blenko.

A translucent tangerine,and yellow decanter and red stopper. The square shaped red stopper is inserted into th clear neck of the decanter. The body slopes into the shoulder and body of multi-fired tangerine color above a lemon yellow with an uneven clear base.
