We have one object that Anton van Leeuwenhoek has been involved with.

A horizontal, rectangular yellowing page from a book displaying illustrations of cohineal and mechanical anatomy. The images are very finely-detailed grey-scale sketches, and are disjointedly placed throughout the page. On the left side of the page are eight smaller sketches that detail the various internal and external anatomy of the beatle-like cochineal, as well as studies of the branch it can be plucked from and different views of the insect's exterior. Towards the top of the page is a much larger sketch of the underside of the insect's abdomen, highlighting the ribbed structure of the ovular body. On the right side of the page is one large sketch of the machine used to extract the color from the cochineal: a long thin tube feeds into a horizontal tube of equal size, which feeds liquid into a large shallow bowl and emits steam out its other end. The bowl of the machine sits atop a large, bulbous stand. Each illustration has at least four pronounced capital letters next to various points about the image. At the upper right hand corner of the page in small, stylized print are the words 'Philos = Transact = 𝝅 = 292'.
