From Mark van Schalkwyk, 4/2/2019: Mark van S. is a multidisciplinary artist, photographer, and designer and is the creative director at MVS Studio. In his early career he lived in Seattle and New York and now lives an works in Los Angeles. He describes his work as arts adjacent and it includes everything from poster design to large scale video installations for MoMA, The Getty, The Whitney and the Corcoran. He is the inventor of the modern day photo booth and holds two patents.
