Ed Weinberger has a graduate degree in international business from the Wharton School and is an accomplished venture capitalist. He never received formal training in design. Over the course of his career in furniture Weinberger has completed twenty-eight furniture designs. In 2007 he was invited to create a work for Chareau’s Maison de Verre. His designs furnished the set for the recent film version of Oliver Sacks’s “Awakenings.” Weinberger was given a solo exhibition at Barry Friedman gallery in New York in 1999.
