Son of Frank A. Sebring, who founded the Sebring Pottery Company and Limoges China Company in Sebring, Ohio. Frank H. Sebring Jr. graduated from Yale University in 1913 and then served in WWI for 18 months beginning in 1917. His father purchased the Salem China Company in 1918. In 1919 upon returning from the war, he became the president and general manger of Salem China Co., where he remained until his death in 1934. He was also the secretary of the Crescent China Company in Alliance, Ohio and the secretary of the Limoges China Company, in Sebring. Additionally, he was the director of the First National Bank, in Salem.
