A landscape scene where there are two men carrying a lifeless body toward a tomb. Next to the man on the right side can be seen a basket which contains rope. Upon closer view, the body that is being carried is of Jesus Christ. The three figures are surrounded by several onlookers who are either laying on the ground or standing. There is also a dog in the lower right corner with its head down on its legs. All the outlookers have expressions of sadness and mourning. In the background, there are several trees. In the top left hand corner, can be seen three crosses on top of a hill. This is where Jesus Christ was crucifed. Panning to the right of the hill can be seen a town with its buildings. This town can be understood as being the city of Jerusalem. Behind the city can be seen a large mountain. At the bottom of the print can be seen the artist name which is Jacobo Eacciulato and several Latin Inscriptions.
