Pleated Fan (France)

This is a Pleated fan. It is dated 1830–40 and we acquired it in 1935. Its medium is gilded paper leaf with chromolithograph, carved and pierced ivory sticks, partially silvered. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Georgiana L. McClellan. It is credited Gift of Mrs. George B. McClellan.
