Patchwork Cover, Log Cabin

This is a Patchwork cover. It is dated late 19th century and we acquired it in 1968. Its medium is cotton, wool, silk and its technique is quilted, appliquéd on plain weave with supplementary warp pile (velvet), backed with satin weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Mrs. Roxa Wright.
