This is a Chaise longue. It is dated ca. 1750 and we acquired it in 1978. Its medium is carved walnut, beechwood, caning, (upholstered cushions later). It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Mrs. Howard J. Sachs and Peter G. Sachs. It is credited Gift of Mrs. Howard J. Sachs and Mr. Peter G. Sachs in memory of Miss Edith L. Sachs.
