Fragment (England)

This is a Fragment. It was manufactured by Bannister Hall Printworks and made for (as the client) Richard Ovey. It is dated 1804–06 and we acquired it in 1949. Its medium is cotton and its technique is block printed on plain weave; three blue warp threads in each selvage. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by John Judkyn. It is credited Gift of John Judkyn.
