Band

This is a Band. It is dated 16th century and we acquired it in 1954. Its medium is silk, metallic yarn on linen and its technique is back stitch embroidery and couched metallic-wrapped silk on plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Richard Cranch Greenleaf (American, 1887–1961). It is credited Gift of Richard C. Greenleaf.
