This is a Carpet fragment. It is dated 1650–70 and we acquired it in 1955. Its medium is wool, linen on hemp ground and its technique is cut velvet (velours d'arras or moquette). It is a part of the Textiles department.

It is credited Museum purchase through gift of Madame Raimundo de Madrazo.
