A greeting card illustrating a city street at night in winter with snow falling. The scene is seen as though from a high vantage point looking downwards and outwards to the top right. In the foreground we have an aerial perspective view of buildings with snow-covered roofs. Below this is the grey snow-covered street with two black streetlights casting a bright glow and groups of figures in black and blue uniforms shoveling snow onto the street edges and into sleighs and trailers pulled by horses, whilst a car winds its way down the center. On the sidewalks are rows of pedestrians carrying bue, purple and bright red umbrellas and to the left we see abstracted shop fronts glowing with the same blue, red and purple light and the dark sky aglow with light. On the left edge there is a vertical blue border with a column of white snowflakes inside.
