Table Clock (Sweden)

This is a Table clock. It was designed by Erik Fleming and made by Atelier Borgila and modeled by Karl Hulström and fabricated by Robert Engström. It is dated 1930 and we acquired it in 1960. Its medium is silver, gilt silver. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

On pedestal's bottom tier: maker's mark Borgila, national mark as three crowns, silver standard as "S", town mark as St. Erik's head for Stockholm, date mark "D8" for 1930.

It is inscribed

On silver winding key (finial) located on top of pedestal between two females: "I.K." (for Ivan Kreuger, 1880-1932)
