It has the following markings

Watermark: "J. Whatman/Turkey Mill/1879" parallel to lower edge near the left corner, The mark reads from left to right in the lower right corner recto: lower line: Turkey Mill, upper line: J. Whatman, lowest line 1879. This could be the paper used for drawings of Montmajour (Heenk, Liesbeth, "Revealing van Gogh: An Examination of his Papers," The Paper Conservator, vol. 18 (1994), pp. 30,31.[kb]) (This essay is based on Heenk's dissertation/Courtauld Inst.[kb])
