Print, Design in Berlin Wool Work

It is inscribed

In upper margin, center, printed in blue ink: Published with THE YOUNG LADIES' JOURNAL, February 1st 1874. In lower margin, printed in blue ink: Messrs. J. Bedford & Co., 186 Regent Street, and 46 Goodge Street, Tottenham Court Road, W, supply materials for working the above pattern suitable on either of the Chair designs, for 11/9; Silk for the lightest shades, 3/- extra; postage, 10d. Materials also can be supplied for the same pattern, which is suitable for either Stripe for Sofa or Portiere Border, at 8/- per yard; Silk for the lightest shades, 2/- extra. Messrs. J. Bedford & Co., beg to inform the subscribers to The Young Ladies' Journal that the work, when completed for Chair, can be mounted on either Walnut, Gold, or Ebony and Gold Frame, with Utrecht Velvet or Tufted Satin, prices for which can be had on application.
