Band (Peru)

This is a Band. It is dated 1000–1450 (crossed out and marked 'Wari') and we acquired it in 1965. Its medium is linen warp, wool weft and its technique is slit tapestry, double faced, wefts perpendicular to warp; sides: intact, ends: cut. It is a part of the Textiles department.
