Cap Crown (Italy)

This is a Cap crown. It is dated 18th century and we acquired it in 1939. Its medium is linen and its technique is lace of earlypremade tape with needle work fillings, edged on three sides with bobbin lace. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Mrs. George Nichols. It is credited Gift of Mrs. George Nichols from the collection of her mother, Mrs. J.P. Morgan.
