This is a covered dish. It was made by Carstens-Graefenroda. It is dated 1920–40 and we acquired it in 1996. Its medium is glazed earthenware, gilding. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

This object was donated by Victor Wiener. It is credited Gift of Victor Wiener.

Its dimensions are

height 6.5, diameter 11.8 centimeters

It has the following markings

On bottom of box in black, a shield containing a tree-shape with bracing "C" and "G" and with "Carstens" at the top. On top of the shield is "Grafenroda" and below sits "Handmalerai". Also, "Dec. 1201".
